Corned beef and cabbage egg rolls are an absolute must.
Fish n chips are yummy. Their dill pickle tarter sauce is out of this world!
It's a bar people don't bring your kids and don't glare at me when I say 4 letter words around your kids while they are in said bar!

Opened in 1952. They have been family owned from the start & serve both New Mexican & American cuisine. Known for their "steak in the rough", which is deep-fried steak fingers served w/ french fries.
Get the steak in the rough and a bowl of red. TRUST ME.

I buy meat for my dogs. They especially like neck pig bones, pig feet, chicken neck, chicken liver, lamb heart, lamb liver and anything else that's different.

The original Christmas (half red child and half green chile) Papa's plate was amazing and enormous. I liked the green chile a bit better, but liked being able to try both
Crazy big portions. Split a plate or Great for those w huge appetites! Feel free to wear pajamas or sweats.

8. D G's Deli & Market
The Italian grinder is one of the best cold subs made. Add some Chili to spice it up!

9. Vinaigrette
Really fresh salads, courgette fritters were tasty. Cuban sandwich and local amber hit the spot.
The Arugula Duck salad is VERY good, and Big! Husband and I both had a cup of soup and split the Arugula Duck. STILL stuffed. VERY good!
Love the Abq Vinaigrette just like Santa Fe. You know it's good when your kid with strep throat wants a Kale Ceasar salad over pizza.
10. Gecko's Bar & Tapas
Gecko's has so much to offer, from cheap drinks and food to live entertainment, karaoke and Thursday night poker leagues. They've got it all.
The green chile cheese fries are ridiculous.
Burgers are $5 on Wednesdays but delicious everyday.

Everything is delicious here! But try the slaw, it's amazing and always sells out.
Holy shit why is my sandwich $10?
It's very busy during the lunch hour. Be prepared to take your sandwich elsewhere to eat it.
12. Vic's Daily Cafe
We love to eat at Vick's. I've never had anything that's less than very good to great. This is one place where I feel safe ordering the special that's not on the regular menu.
Hole in the wall place. Friendly service and hearty entrees. Come hungry.

Fish and chips are divine! Apple chunks in the coleslaw makes it so great and different!
Forget the Guinness, go with a local: La Cumbre Elevated IPA on draft.
Best fish n' chips in town. Sunday brunch is awesome, too! Bottled beer wise, go for the Nocturnm Delirum, but if you have more than one make sure you've got a driver.
The veggie patty with avocado, jalapeño hummus, quinoa, and roasted red peppers was great!
Favorite sandwich spot... And iced tea is delicious!
